• A soft and chewy candy covered in sour sugar is known as Sour Patch Kids. “Sour then sweet” describes how, after popping one into your mouth, you’ll initially be assaulted by the harshness of the coating before realising that it gives way to the wonderful fruit-flavoured (and kid-shaped!) gummy candy.
